The ySTART Program is a realistic, multi-sensory experience. Kids learn what it means to have an addiction, experience repeated peer pressure, and practice valuable communication and refusal skills. They not only learn why they should resist tobacco, but how.

The ySTART Program is for instructors working with youth ages 10 and up, because studies show this is the age when they are most susceptible to addictions. It's also an age when the brain and developing body can least afford to be compromised by harmful substances.
About the size of a cell phone or MP3 player, the PreventPak uses voice recognition technology and software to program and monitor simulation results. The Pak provides practice, repetition and reinforcement for those critical moments when kids need to say "NO" for real.

Family involvement
